Here is an article I wrote on the new church Commons Place in Newberry.

  NEW WAWA... This morning, I went to get coffee at the new Wawa on Maynard Street. I walked over to the coffee bar and there were a mother and daughter duo hovering around the bar blocking everything. They would comment on EVERY brand of coffee and the sweetener. I was able to squeeze in and get what I wanted. However, I should have gotten the sleeve first. I poured the coffee into the cup. It is 150 degrees. My hand is barely holding on to it and I turn and there's the mother and daughter gabbing away. Then, I swear I am not making this up, the mother said, "We should take a selfie of us holding it!" I gave a dirty enough look for them to move. I got my sleeve and all was right with the world. Moral of the story, if you treat a coffee bar like a wine tasting, you need to get out more! Thank you. God bless America.

Hello all:  Here is my first official story for the Blue Blogsman site! Quick background, about this... The Lycoming County SPCA had not received a Federal grant and this prevented funding for their low cost spay/neuter program. Sadly, they would not be able to provide this service until 2026 (if at all possible). But thanks to one generous Lyco County  resident, that changed. That's what this article about.   Enjoy!
